Speak & Share at Frankston Dolphins

We were proud to fund Speak & Share to run a couple of mental health and wellbeing sessions with the Frankston Dolphins Football Netball Club players on 28 April 2026.

Around 120 young players from the club’s u17 and u19 boys, and u19 girls and senior women’s team took part across two sessions. And it was great to see lots of involvement from parents, coaches and the club committee.

Participants engaged in activities and discussions to reinforce communication, vulnerability and checking in with each other. They took time to reflect on themselves, what they were proud of about themselves and how they could support their own mental health and that of their peers.

“The sessions left a lasting impression on everyone involved, reinforcing the importance of conversation, support and speaking up. We commend Speak & Share for the incredible work they’re doing across Australia in fostering proactive and preventative mental health awareness, and we are grateful to have been part of their growing impact,” said the club’s Vice President Jason Zarb after the sessions.

Thank you to Lachie and Abbey from Speak & Share for reminding us all to talk to our mates, open up, and look after each other. A problem shared is a problem halved.
